Visions for Illinois Agriculture

The Visions for Illinois Agriculture project is led by Farm Bureau President Philip Nelson, former Illinois Department of Agriculture Director Chuck Hartke and University of Illinois Interim Chancellor and Provost of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Robert Easter. The goal of the vision project is to identify and develop strategies that will enhance and grow the competitiveness of Illinois food and fiber industries.

EDUCATE staff serve on the workforce development and P-20 education planning team that represents various sectors of agribusiness and production agriculture in Illinois including agriculture equipment, agriculture finance, biosciences, food and agriculture processing, production agriculture, agriculture energy, specialty agriculture, academia and state government.
